Which “Ship” and why would it be a poor bugger. The association has the right bones. Three years in and they have got some things right and some wrong. Look at the women’s. Get the right coach for the group that you assemble and good things happen. Very good numbers at the BQJBC trials. It is far from a sinking ship.

And then to say the only reason they had good numbers at the trials is because they have 3 clubs combined. Well that’s the whole point you knuckle head.

Lol Phoenix won’t fail or disband. Bq won’t allow it after Burns put so much time into putting it together.
If it folded BQ wouldn’t allow another association on the Coast.

Really. You all need to stop equating QBL with the Phoenix concept. When the plan for it to happen the feeling at the time would have been for the 4 coast clubs to combine for the betterment of the junior programs. 3 of the 4 agreed and so Phoenix was born. If BQ has spent so much time into it and wanted it to succeed they wouldn’t have granted the QBL licence to Rip. They (Rip) must have had some idea they would be granted the licence before voting on becoming part of SCBA.
If anything I think you would find BQ has had a big part to play in the damage all this has caused. Along with personal genders of many people. Once upon a time the friction was between long standing members of each club now most of the garbage strewn around is from ex club members that have jumped across to the other side and are hell bent on the destruction of the other and in the long run. Nothing good will come of it. If Phoenix and Rip are destined to never join then how about everyone from both sides just zip it as the best thing for them will be for both to get stronger. If one falls apart because of the actions of another clubs supporters / admin etc do you really think those left without an association are going to come over to the victors all happy smiley people. Just make what you have better without digging the boot into the others.

Sorry, that turned into way more than I thought.

So much good stuff going on in the QBL and you all keep talking about the same old negative rubbish. You all clearly love the game, so dont drag it down.

How come Booker didnt play for Phoenix on the weekend? Did they send him home already? They might be struggling for numbers if Walters is out as well.
