Two great matches in the men this Saturday night.

    (6) Rip @ (1) Gold Coast
    (4) Seahawks @ (2) Northside

Rip knocked off the Goldie on their home turf late in the season and appear to have come good at the right time, they'll no doubt be brimming with confidence. Wizards and Seahawks met at the start of the season and it was a close and fiery affair.

And not to forget the women ...

    (3) Capitals @ (2) Northside
    (5) Spartans @ (1) Seahawks

The Seahawks have again set the benchmark this season and it will be a monumental effort if anyone gets close to them, let alone knocks them off.

Rip get chance to avenge 2016 result. Wiz win 88-79, Bay made it a game and came within six late.

Rip are loaded with QBL listed players and older guys - they will beat Northside by 15.
Northside not nearly the same side as last season

Pretty good for Rip to come from 6th spot to win it. They had to win every finals game on the road.

Senior guys only really started playing in the finals...
Good to see McGlynn add to his technical foul count sparking a Northside comeback when the game was over.

well, BQ announced these yesterday. only one month after the season ended too, it must have been too hard to tally up a handful of votes earlier

When did they start voting for coach of the year? Wasn't whoever won it each year?
Congrats to Wizards coach but Rip came from 6th and had to win every game on the road to win it.
