Sure are! Is anyone able to copy and paste the GC Bulletin's article from last week about the Rollers "honesty session" please?

THE Gold Coast Rollers have credited an honesty session for helping spark a Queensland Basketball League revival they hope can drive them to the playoffs.Coach Mick Conlon revealed his team used one of their training sessions last week to hash out issues they..

I am more interested by the fact RIP have to drop 3 points in their squad. People on here thinking that they are fine this weekend cause McAlister is out, are so wrong. The points system is for your squad, and the number of people in the squad dictate the points allowed. Whether McAlister is injured or not makes no difference. If they want to keep him then they need to shed 3 points from somewhere else, or release a restricted player and sign someone on lower points.

BBI and Gladstone should be made to do the same thing.

Yes the mail from BQ President is that Rip will now be stripped of points of any future game they are over the cap. It's been ruled on and now they must act.

Catching up on a month's worth of discussion.

What have the Rip done to allegedly incur BQ's wrath? And why wasn't this picked up earlier? Seems strange.

And what have Brisbane and Gladstone done? Did Brisbane really have a player re-rated mid-season? if true, wow, just wow.

Clubs self assess and submit to BQ a couple of weeks prior to the start of the season. The comp manager checks all points and gives these back to the individual clubs prior to season start to amend if required. That didn’t happen this season for some reason & clearly they haven’t been assessed accurately. Some clubs received there own points back weeks into the season. Changes have not been made to points process it is new management at BQ interpreting the rules as they see fit in lieu of 5 year precedent. These points fiascos have not happened in the past. Ask people from 2013 onwards.
Also no reason why these lists can’t be given to all clubs at season start as they should be completed anyway. Clubs would just need to acknowledge that they have to have their rosters finalised by an agreed date for this to work I guess.
To say kopcikas should of been a 1 is a joke. What if a player gets injured prior to making their 100th game? The whole system this year is a farce.

Oh gosh - can't you move on from this one already. BQ have been clear about the decision that was made and the Caps have been cleared of any wrongdoing. Clearly some people will always have green eyes when looking at a well run association.

Incorrect - clubs have been notified that an independent tribunal is taking place.
Unless you can produce an email saying otherwise stop stirring.

As long as this tribunal investigates all three clubs concerned.

Great games at Runaway Bay last night. SWM women out to a great start. Seahawks reeled them in and got as close as 2 points in the 4th but SWM able to steady The Ship and get the W. Menís game a great battle. Again SWM looked to be in control at 3/4 time. Seahawks pull off a 33-15 final quarter and had a shot to win it which rattled out. SWM getting the win in OT. Very entertaining games on a very cold night!

With Mackay's destruction of Gladstone the question must be asked how does a BQ employee even a coach a QBL team let alone participate in a blatant rort of the "hazy" points system...Ö.?

Both the BQ employees coaching QBL teams this year have proven their inability to succeed at the top level. Gladstoneís recruitment was terrible and apart from a two week period where they got all four of their wins they have been disgraceful. They got bailed out by head office on their inability to follow the points system by pissing in the right pockets. The coaches only reason to be involved is for his own agenda and promotion, same as everything he does.
